The large areas of land containing garbage and random landfills began shrinking on the shores of South Lebanon, between Rmeileh and Sidon, up to Tyre and Naqoura.
They were replaced by public parks and places for entertainment and recreation, based on initiatives from individuals and municipalities. The municipality transformed the dump site between Zahrani and Ghazieh into a public garden.
Many people visit this place for taking photos or for fishing. The beach is really beautiful in its “golden time”, which is when the sun goes down, turning the water into a golden page, and grabbing the attention of photographers, ships, and hearts.
