Lebanese Environment Minister Muhammad Mashnouq announced the World Bank’s approval of a USD 55 million loan to fight pollution in the Qaraoun Lake and the Litani River, and for the completion of the sewage networks in Zahle and surrounding villages, plus Anjar, Al-Marj and nearby villages.
