Reforestation is not just about planting trees where there is no or there are few green creatures, but a process that also seeks to improve the ecosystem as a whole. This requires an environmental study, since not all types of plantations are good for the ecological balance.

Eucalyptus plantations are widely practiced in Asia, India and Latin America. They are fast-growing trees and therefore quick profit. Companies use the growing demand for paper and creating jobs as an alibi, knowing the terrible effects of these species in the environment.

This has a negative environmental impact on the ecosystem. They sterilized and acidify soil , underground water reserves decrease, rivers dry and biodiversity is reduced. Most serious of which is intended to repair damage caused.

Farmers rehabilitated about 5 million hectares between 1986 and 2006. It served simple techniques that do not damage the ecosystem. Thus, the population did desert fertile ground, and therefore an agricultural productivity.

Martin Luther King said, “though I knew the world was going to end tomorrow, I still live today, and would still plant a tree”, ever since that man has used the trees as a double-edged sword. He has been able to make the desert a rich area, and the Amazon a poor area.

We must ask whether the human being will be positioned for the planet where he was born and will provide renewable energy for their care, proper reforestation and general respect for the environment. Or on the contrary will continue with the bad practices that have caused havoc in rivers, seas, forests and oceans.
