Health finally had to yield to the evidence that disinfect unwashed salads for direct use at home can be done with a great disinfectant and yet safe and powerful drug called MMS (chlorine dioxide).

It had been years since Pàmies HORTICOLES Health asked us not to put obstacles to the implementation MMS disinfectant ( Chlorine Dioxide ) to wash our salads. We always stick with the excuse of not having monitoring protocols level of chlorine dioxide in the treated water.

The disinfection with bleach (sodium hypochlorite) has always been well regarded by health authorities, because chlorine remained hours in the water unnecessarily, affecting the quality of lettuce to cause carcinogenic metabolite called Trihalomethanes.

Although all our steps are in the right direction the best disinfectant water, salads, operating rooms, etc. all end up winning the battle of widespread use in medical terms in cases of serious infections (Hepatitis, Legionella, Malaria, Dengue, Ebola, etc.). Currently the medical use in humans is prohibited incomprehensibly.
