The home where Prince died and made his music, Paisley Park, could soon be listed for sale on the open market, but his family are allegedly not happy about it, according to a new report.

It has been reported that the bank which is looking after Prince’s estate has filed legal papers asking the court to sell of a number of the legendary star’s homes.

Paisley Park is reportedly listed among the properties, and TMZ reports that documents state: “The properties that the special administrator is currently anticipating will be sold, and the appraised value of same are listed in spreadsheet attached as Exhibit A.”

It has been reported that Paisley Park has been valued at just over $7 million, and the website claims that the bank had enlisted an estate agent.

A judge recently dismissed nearly 30 people’s claims to Prince’s estate, estimated at around $300 million, and his family are allegedly keen to fight the administrators on selling Paisley Park which alleged plans to convert it into a museum.

It was reported that the ‘ Purple Rain’ hitmaker owned property in Beverly Hills, New York, his home state of Minnesota and possibly other areas before his death from an accidental overdose in April, and the special administrator of his affairs has filed a legal request to start selling off various real estate holdings.

According to TMZ, documents submitted to court state the estate will only accept offers for the properties that are at least 90% of fair market value.

The court has sealed the part of the request which states which properties they are hoping to sell.
