Space Dome is a circular house that has the ability to rotate 360 ° on its axis. This allows harness sunlight  to reduce to the maximum the energy consumption. It is also built with environmentally friendly materials.

Located 130 km from the city of New York, the dome looks like a spaceship that has landed in the middle of a forest of 11 hectares. The project was named Domespace and corresponds to the designer Patrick Marsilli.

The main feature of this dome is that it can be rotated 360 ° on its axis with the push of a button. So, people can make the most of light and solar shade. Thanks to this feature and huge curved windows that comprise housing, the need for artificial light is remarkably decreased. Even on cloudy days and hours with less natural light, the house can be illuminated. In addition, this feature makes it possible to change what looks like landscape.

For the selection of sustainable and chemical-free wood, excellent insulation and its ability to rotate, which makes it possible to control the room temperature, the environmental footprint of Space Dome is unique in the industry.

Among the organic materials selected for construction are cedar, bamboo and limestone. All woods chosen are certified Forest Stewardship Council (FSC, for its acronym in English). It realizes sustainable forest management.
