A study by the universities of Queensland and Warwick, showed that eating extra servings of fruits and vegetables could influence our mood.

 We have always been clear that fruits and vegetables  do good to our bodies, but had never been certain that are good for the mood.So far, researchers from the universities of Warwick Queensland and have published a study based on observation of behavior of 12.385 people chosen at random, where it was concluded that the extra consumption of these foods influence our mood.

The researchers studied the longitudinal daily meals of participants, with respect to the years 2007, 2009 and 2013 and examined the effect that an extra serving of fruits and vegetables  was on the minds of people.

The study concluded that people who went from not eating any overduras to consume about eight servings daily fruits, increased their level of happiness . In fact the study found that the level of euphoria and satisfacciónque occurs, it is similar to what happens when a person moves from a state of unemployment to employment.

While scientists are not completely sure what specifically is causing the increase in mood, it is speculated that there may be a connection between optimism and carotenoids in the blood .
