Lebanese Kataeb Party Leader, Member of Parliament Sami Gemayel, said on Tuesday that the trash crisis was an attempt blackmail Kataeb party in a bid to have its members succumb to the proposed trash plan.
“We utterly refuse the implementation of this plan because we are fully convinced that its bad. We urge other political parties to stand by our side instead,” he added.
Speaking in a press conference, the lawmaker said that the war against Kataeb was caused by the fact that nobody possessed any piece of evidence that could smear the party’s reputation.
