As quoted by The Counter, Lauren Gladu, spokesman for the Association of Veterinarians of Colorado, said of the situation:
Now that marijuana is offered in dogs food, dogs are more likely to be exposed. Chocolate cookies with marijuana are especially dangerous, because chocolate is toxic to dogs.
