A filtration station has been set up to provide additional supplies of drinking water. The station is capable of producing 25 cubic meters of water daily.
“As of 6am on September 7, the sanitary-epidemiological situation in Primorsky Krai’s districts is assessed as satisfactory. There are no animal burial grounds and hazardous chemical facilities in the flooded areas. Cooperation was organized with local departments of Rospotrebnadzor (consumer rights watchdog) and Centers for Hygiene and Epidemiology,” the ministry added.
