Massive price cuts of Spanish canned mandarins in packs of more than one kilo to the UK and Belgium are in stark contrast with higher prices to most of the other destinations in H1 2016, compared with the same period the year before.
The UK’s share of Spain’s total exports of canned mandarins under 1kg packing has been progressively declining in the first half of the year for the last three from 12% to 5%. Deliveries to the country plunged by 26% in volume to 288 tonnes.
