The Africa Action Summit kicked off in Marrakesh, Morocco, on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 22) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Africa has been among the world regions worst-hit by the effects of climate change.
