Blue Water Reserve concluded the program in Jordan Knight Nature and funded by the Dutch Embassy and Mercy Corps. In conjunction with the annual celebration of the World Day for Wetlands of 2017 under the patronage of the Director of the Blue Region Dr. Saud Al Harbi, the Nature Knight is an educational program aimed at school students (males and females) aged 12-16 years from the nature reserves of the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature.

The program aims at building a generation that is connected to the reserve and is scientifically and technically qualified to support nature protection activities. The program is implemented in five phases and for a full year so that the students become pioneers in their communities and activists in the field of environmental awareness and commitment to nature conservation. The program features a Bfalyate commensurate with the tendencies and desires of the participants and their abilities to be active in protecting the environment and the definition of the importance of preserving them by adopting positive behaviors and to move away from the negative, and enhance the student’s role in environmental protection.

Established in 1978, the Blue Aqueduct is one of the most important wetlands in Jordan and the world. It is an important station for migratory birds from Europe to Africa and vice versa. The Blue Reserve is the first to represent the wetlands in Jordan and the only habitat of the Sarhan fish. A protected reserve to the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance at the Arab Level in 1977. The Royal Society for the Protection of Nature plays a leading and important role in the environment and wetland management sector because of its significant development role in the Azraq Region through development projects and Various vivid blue implemented by protected water as well as the awareness of the role that play at the level of the region.
