The plastic invading Mashrou’ Leila concert part of the #BalaPlastic movement to raise awareness of the problems with single use plastic, and its tragic impacts on Lebanon Public health, environment and economy.
The plastic used yesterday at Ehdeniyat festival, was collected from a beach cleanup organised by Greenpeace mediteranean and Recycle Lebanon, and donated by different NGOs: Al Midan, Green Community, Recycle Beirut, Dop Off Tabarja, Bclean and Cedar environment. A group of architects from the American University of Beirut- DI-LAB worked on designing the art installation.
