When a former president declares (he is the last president) that he does not mind running again for presidency, and he knows very well that this violates the most basic rules of the Lebanese Constitution, which he was entrusted to apply.

When the Minister of Interior, who is responsible for the enforcement of laws, declares that thieves are poor and are exploited by some, and is surprised, in another stand, for the prosecution of a terrorist’s son because he does not possess a driving license.

If several officials consider that violating the Constitution and the law is one of the ordinary actions which are not worthy of accountability or exclamation, then why would  it become strange for a judge to say that environmental violations caused him to lose his job, while the violations continued? Why are environmental violations extending along the country, while officials do nothing to stop them? Al-Rihan sanders, Al-Souweiry, where there are no more mountains, Breakers and Sanders in Kfardebian, Janneh Dam, Al-Dalieh in Beirut, Sidon’s Landfill, and the list continues.

All violations are covered politically, and their sponsors are within the government and the Cabinet, meaning their protector is their stealer, which is what is happening today from obligations and deals under the pretext of protecting public money, while what is really happening is that the money is being looted and re-distributed, with a difference that whoever comes today does not have to be committed to anything, especially presenting services, or else, who will punish him if he cast off.

Objections’ continuation and refusing the status quo leaves the best ways; the undevotion of the violations, and the prolongation of breaking the law. However, it is not just a matter of awareness, but the amount of violations, which reach people’s own houses and the health of their children and their lives is the motive and the guarantor to dismiss what is happening and who is behind it.
