Looking for a way to improve your sex life? Put on plastic gloves and help your other half to clean. According to a study published by the Journal of Family Psychology and conducted by the Canadian University of Alberta, couples who share the housework also have a more fulfilling sex life. The study authors were interested in the work-sharing benefits among 1000 couples who were together for at least five years. After taking into account the practices within each couple and the quality of their sex, the scientists analyzed the perceptions of men on the amount of work done at home. The results indicate that it is not the quantity that counts, but the fact of perceiving its contribution to household chores as fair that improves the quality of sexual life of both partners. If one of them does not assume its responsibility and if one is doing more than the other, this can create tension in the relationship, which result in a bad deal to bed. This study confirms the results of other studies according to which the couples who share the household are more satisfied sexually speaking.
