A government that does move except upon the explosion of crises and protests, and as soon as these are over or as soon as they stop temporarily, it goes back to its deep sleep.

The Cabinet failed to discuss “Janna Dam” project in its last session, knowing that it has been a highly explosive project since the first day it was launched. This topic kicks off and stops according to political considerations, personal interests, and the law of the exchange of goods and services. The environment or the economy have nothing to do with its wavering steps. The confusion that took place throughout the politicians’ last phone call, is just a drop in the ocean regarding this topic.
The Cabinet did not discuss the waste file in its last session, knowing that the “explosive bomb” which lies in this file, will be much bigger and tougher this time, especially that the “surprising” contracting in the Costa Brava landfill calls on to “read the book from its cover”.

The delay in the management of this file is deepening by the day, and the areas for waste collection are narrowing by the day. The Government does not find time to discuss the real management of this file, perhaps because the plan has already been made, and patience is the key.

.

The Prime Minister tells the Lebanese that their country’s state is a failure, and he complains as if he was the last citizen here, or as if he was a foreign observer. He complains as if this acknowledgment should not result in a resignation, action, or even crying.
Parties, blocs, and forces, are busy inspecting the possibility of dividing the quotas fairly, taking into account the long-lasting injustice for those who have not participated in the authority yet.

Out of moral duty, there should be an apology from our website, for being absent from the detailed coverage for these files during the previous weeks, in favor of following up with important environmental issues, hoping to re-tackle these issues, starting today.
