Not all children love animals, but of course, there was a reason for that. Every time, you, parents warn your children that animals are harmful, and would bite (in the case of a dog for example), they would grow hatred of these living organisms little by little.
Here are some ways to make your child an animal lover:
- Tell them how much animals are friendly if/she was friendly to them.
- Pet a dog or play with a cat in front of your children (children like to imitate adults).
- If it was possible, bring a pet for your child (rabbit, turtle, cat, dog, hamster, etc.…)
- Let your child know more why animals are nice creatures, and what they help humans at.
- Bring an animal magazine for your child, with photos, and maybe you’ll find a magazine that has a gift constituting of a different animal each time, to be made a collection.
- Bring a colouring book around the theme of animals.
