Students and facilitators advance awareness processes for the care of Mother Earth through the Own Music in a cultural and educational meeting held on Tuesday, August 2 in the educational headquarters Look Valley receipt of the Mercedes, Municipality of Caldono, in Cauca .

Students, parents, authorities, members of the delegation of the educational component of PEBIs-CRIC and cultural facilitators made various cultural performances such as textiles, paintings, crafts and music itself composed by the students to the sound of the guitar and the drum.

At the meeting it became clear how students are writing their own songs , where you interpret and sing to care for Mother Earth . An example is the song “The Yerbatero” dedicated to medicinal plants and trovas on the daily lives of the Nasa people.

The day was also an occasion to present productive projects being implemented in the school garden.

All activities were aimed at sensitizing participants on the damages arising at present to Mother Earthand towards strengthening the consumption of the products of the region.
