Around antennas, cancer tops the list. They cause autoimmune and degenerative diseases, sleep disorders, feelings of extreme exhaustion, pressure problems and thyroid, among others.

A health survey in two adjacent phone masts urban areas of Mercedes (Buenos Aires, Argentina) cell , showed a high rate of serious diseases. The center area threw the most alarming rates: in 21 households, inhabited by 44 people, recorded 15 cases of cancer . This area is the most dangerous, because in a few blocks three masts are concentrated, resulting ina synergistic effect.

In Gendarmerie the situation is less serious: in 27 households, inhabited by 90 people, 10 cases were detected cancer , plus other serious ailments such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson ‘s .

Between the two areas, in total 49 households surveyed, 124 inhabitants, 25 cases were detectedcancer . Autoimmune and degenerative diseases, sleep disorders, feelings of extreme exhaustion, pressure problems and thyroid include: Added to these other diseases linked to electromagnetic pollution are added.

Summing all ailments, the percentage of sick people in the areas studied around 40 percent. Almost all suffer from multiple disorders health , a feature emblematic of those affected by electromagnetic pollution: problems combine and multiply, with no apparent cause for physicians.

Symptomatic fact is that the inhabitants of the hot areas do not record disorders health when their residence in the place dates from recent time. This is in line with evidence that serious effects on people begin to manifest after 5 years living in the most polluted areas.

The survey was developed during the first months of 2013, personally visiting homes in areas adjacent to the antennas  of mobile telephony . Data were also received through a form published in El Nuevo Cronista. The survey was compiled based aa international studies (Bioinitiative Report, Fribourg Declaration) linking certain diseases to electromagnetic pollution. There are other diseases whose index is triggered, which were not included in the study, but also suspected linked to exposure to microwaves. Among them, one that is increasingly the victims: the stroke.

The survey was conducted by the social psychologist Evangelina vicoli, and was closed with a sign that drivers estimates sufficient to verify indications that something strange is going on with the health of mercedinos, especially in the areas of highest concentration of radiation.

The sample is small -is limited to apples indicated in the diagram and opens many questions. How many patients find if we surveyed the entire center, or even more? Everything Mercedes has this disease index, or only areas near the masts?

To further this study, we need more support from the community and the authorities, and the involvement of other institutions. The Vibromancia commission, originated in a study for the Veracruzana University of Mexico, since 2011 extended invitations -still no answer to the municipality of Mercedes, the Department of Health and the College of Physicians. For almost two years we demand an epidemiological study that links in a timeline certain diseases increased with increasing wireless broadcasts. Another possibility is a more complete map areas, to analyze the impact of different pathogenic sources, both telephone masts and the former plant Dupont, for example, or areas adjacent to the use of agrochemicals. This study would allow a more dynamic analysis, in line with the idea of “environmental cocktail” as the source of the dramatic increase in certain diseases in recent decades.
