Pomegranate is a miraculous fruit with huge benefits. In this article, we list the steps to make a syrup from this colorful fruit.

The syrup can be used in salads, with eggs, and other foods. Before these steps, let us tell you that this fruit provides you with vitamin C and antioxidants, along with fiber and anti-inflammatory properties. Added to that, studies show eating the fruit and/or drinking pomegranate juice can help protect against diseases such as cancer.

 

How to make pomegranate juice

Let’s get back to the delicious pomegranate juice.

Personally, i got familiar to pomegranate through my family, since they get busy every year making this juice we use in salads and many other food,such as the lebanese “kibbe”.

 Steps :

– Remove pomegranate seeds from the fruit.

– put them in a blender.

– Heat pomegranate juice, sugar, and lemon juice on medium high until the sugar has dissolved and the juice simmers.

– Simmer for several hours, or until the juice has a syrupy consistency, and has reduced to 1 to 1 1/4 cups.

– Pour out into a jar.

 

Enjoy the syrup in your meals.
