Dubai Municipality has completed its latest pond park project in Khawaneej, a zero energy, sustainable project running on solar energy.

The park, which has cost around Dh21 million, will soon open to the public and will even utilise rainwater to fill the park’s pond.

Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, hopes the park will not only be a tourist attraction but also serve the local community.

The park will include two children’s play areas and a football pitch with artificial grass.
