The municipality of Sidon participated in the Great Blue Beach campaign in Lebanon, where a cleanup campaign was organized in the vicinity of Al-Oli and Rumaila Beach, at the entrance to Sidon City, opposite the city-sponsored Sidon Park.
The campaign started with the national anthem by the scouts of the surgeon and the speech of the representative of the mayor Mohammed Al-Saud, member of the Municipal Council Mohammed Al-Baba, who stressed the importance of the campaign which became an annual tradition, pointing out that “the beach of Saida is clean and the municipality is working to maintain cleanliness throughout the year.”
For his part, the representative of the campaign, Mahib Kaddoura, said that this year the campaign included the municipality of Saida, the Lebanese Army, the Society for Development of Man and the Environment, the Scouts of the Surgeon, the Beirut Sons Association, the Beirut International School, the Scouts of Al Farouk and Lebanese families.
