According to the National News Agency, the people of the town of Bar Elias brought bulldozers and blocked the course of the Litani river in protest against the failure to find quick solutions to pollute the river, which caused the spread of cancer among the townspeople in a disastrous manner.
It is noted that the filling of the stream will lead to the flood of sewage and its extension to the surrounding plains.
