Suklin issued a statement saying:
“Pursuant to the instructions of the CDR and in accordance with the contracts signed with the Lebanese government it represents, the Company declares that on 4/6/2017, all the works of the Synod and the collection that it carried out in the districts of Baabda, Chouf and Aley were handed over to the said Council. Collection of waste and street sweeping in these districts starting from Sunday morning, June 4, 2017, as the implementation of this work was assigned by the Lebanese government represented by the Council for Development and Reconstruction to a new contractor.
He added: “On this occasion, the company extends its sincere thanks to all citizens and all officials, mayors, environmental and civil associations and all those who contributed in one way or another to facilitate and ensure the success of their work in these districts.”
