The physician accused of faking the certificate was identified as Fouad A., who claimed he signed the certificate “by mistake,” it added. The other case also involved false information on a birth certificate that was approved by the mukhtar of Sedd Boushrieh on the eastern edge of Beirut, after being signed by obstetrician Aziz S.
