Abu Faour revoked the nursing license of Mohammad Mustafa Karnib, after the man was found in violation of professional codes, according to a statement released by the minister’s media office. Following investigations, the disciplinary board of the Order of Nurses in Lebanon issued a temporary work stoppage order against the accused. The statement did not disclose what violations were committed. Health Ministry inspectors meanwhile shut down the “Chicken Store” mini market in Batroun and seized amounts of frozen meat and chicken that were being defrosted and marketed as fresh produce. Inspectors also toured the market in the Baalbek town of Tamnin al-Fawqa where they warned vendors to improve health conditions.
