If anyone from this political class has self-respect or some respect towards people, his people in the first place, he would have resigned or left, or at the very least would have addressed honestly and responsibly.

But these officials’ feelings could not be disturbed as they are acting as if people are their herds, and this is a shout that would end with a steam let off or with the rise of a “sudden danger from a religion / sect”.

None of those holding to the power since the “Taif Agreement” tells people deprived from water, electricity, work, correct political representation, and citizenship, why none of these issues were solved, although the civil war broke out for lesser demands.

None of those tells people why garbage is conquering our streets and deals are still happening, whit no questions raised, nor accountability or change taking place.

An out of this time reactionary political system based on sectarianism, monopoly and corruption, and coward greedy officials  sharing / dividing power, influence and money, each depending on his position and the amount of strength he has coming from abroad.

Today, there’s a chance that could hopefully grow, evolve and roll over the system in order to change it, with the “proportional representation law” being the first concrete step towards it.

Only if this movement could push one of those officials to leave, and the rest of those who caused all this country’s ordeals would follow.
